Lords Of Black is a Heavy metal band formed in 2014 by world class singer Ronnie Romero, renowed guitarist Tony Hernando and monster drummer Andy C.
Tony Hernando, well known for his extense solo career as virtuoso and also guitarist and producer for the spanish metal band Saratoga between 2007 and 2013 founds Lords Of Black with Ronnie Romero, looking for creating their ultimate visión on a modern metal sound with melodic, progressive and classic rock elements. Drummer Andy C. joins inmediately and together start the composition and production progress along Tony Hernando’s long time working partner and friend legendary guitarist and producer Roland Grapow (Masterplan, Helloween).
The debut album under the title of “Lords of Black” was released in May 2014 and quickly earned the unanimous definition by critics and public as one of the best album releases of the year with its great mix of modern sounding Metal meets Classic Hard Rock, with excelent melodies, hooks, interesting and progressive elements and great lyrics.
Their live performances, including “Special Guests” spots for renowned bands such as Gotthard, Unisonic and Helloween made them gain even more reputation among fans, media and and international scene, but it was at the end the production of their new album during 2015 when the news run like fire: legend Ritchie Blackmore announces his comeback to Rock with a new Rainbow line up featuring Ronnie Romero as lead singer. This is a total “game changer”, making Lords Of Black globally discovered and landing a record deal with Frontiers Records with a worldwide release date for the new album on March 2016.
