We sadly got the message, that two bands can’t participate at Wacken this year, but we already can announce two new names to fill the slots again. The replacements for Kylesa and Stick To Your Guns are:

Die Krupps
The pioneers of German Industrial Metal are finally heading for Wacken! The band is active since 1980 and has played hundreds of shows all around the world. Their latest studio album is called V – Metal Machine Music and is reversion to the bands classic sound.

Dead Daisies
This supergroup consists of members from the biggest rock bands out there and a constant rotating lineup is part of the concept. If you want to find out, how music sounds, that was created by musicians from bands like Guns N’ Roses, Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails or The Rolling Stones, you should check out their show at Wacken in August!

More about The Dead Daisies

The Stick To Your Guns statement:
“Stick To Your Guns regrets to inform that they are no longer able to perform at this year’s Wacken Festival due to family obligations that can not be missed during the week of this Festival. The band will not be missing any other scheduled performances on their August run.
As much as they were looking forward to be part of this legendary Festival, as hard it is for them to cancel this one of a lifetime opportunity. „We hope to be invited again to the World’s biggest Metal Festival in the not so distant future, so that we can experience first hand what the myth of Waken is made of. We deeply regret to not be able to make it work this time"

The Kylesa statement:
“Kylesa have to put all touring plans for 2016 on hold due to personal matters beyond their control. This also includes the already announced performances at Hellfest and Wacken Open Air. The band regrets not being able to play those events, where they had very memorable times in the past and hopes to make up for it in the future.”
