Gone Postal Bio 2012

Although young in years, the members of Gone Postal speak and play from experience. With a productive career spanning since 2007, the year when these youngsters rose up in their then straight up Death Metal guise in the town of Kópavogur, these workhorses now incorporate a healthy dose of Black Metal into their sound. Appearing at 4 consecutive Eistnaflug festivals, Iceland's premier metal festival, ever higher on the billing, Gone Postal now performs at their third Airwaves festival. Always a pummeling live act to witness, their performance at this years Wacken Metal Battle landed them an appearance at the 2012 Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. A well deserved feat after years at the top shelf of the Icelandic metal scene and a trail of LP, EP and split releases.
