Rain Shatter is a band that hails from western city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. It is formed by Mariño (Drums), Fernando (Guitar), Luis (Voices/Synth), Malambres (Bass) and César (Guitar).

The project started in april 2009 when they were trying to meke their way into the metal scene through bars and local forums. On devember of that year the band won a contest which prize was to record a demo tape. That demo came to life officially on luly 2010

Along the way they became more popular on their local scene and so on october 2011 they went back to the studio to record with a more professional equipment. The next few months were tough since they suffer from some line up changes, but by april 2012 they were a tight unit again and ready to rock the W:O:A Metal Battle Mexico. They played the semi final and then the final just to become the fourth Mexican band to win the competition and gain a spot at Wacken fest.

Rain Shatter has played some 120 shows through most of Mexico and has shared the stage with bands as important as Megadeth, All Shall Perish, Vital Remains, Black Oil and Mayan. They are currently working on a new Cd and preparing to conquer Wacken!
