Avantgarde Black Metallers Dødheimsgard had to cancel their show at this year‘s W:O:A on short notice, because drummer D‘arn was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. In addition to some minor injuries, he broke his arm, making playing his instrument impossible.
As we were told by the band they tried to bring in a stand-in musician, but the complexity of the material made this very difficult in such a short amount of time. We wish D‘arn a speedy recovery and hope to welcome Dødheimsgard to Wacken next year.
