Leider müssen wir mitteilen, dass NOCTURNAL RITES aus privaten Gründen

ihren Auftritt beim diesjährigen Wacken Open Air 2006 absagen müssen

(siehe untenstehende Erklärung der Band !).

METAL CHURCH werden nun am 5.8.2006 um 12:00 die Party Stage rocken !

Wir denken, dass dies mehr als ein Ersatz ist, denn die Band hat nach ihrer Tour mit Victory

und diversen Festivals wie Swedenrock und Masters Of Rock

einen sehr positiven Eindruck bei Fans und Journalisten hinterlassen.

we are sad to announce that NOCTURNAL RITES have to cancel

their show at this years issue of Wacken:Open:Air 2006.

(please see the announcement of the band !)

So METAL CHURCH will do their show at 5th August 2006 / 12:00 at Party Stage !

We the wacken team, think that having METAL CHURCH is a great substitut.

After their very successful tour with victory, and playing at other great festivals,

such as Swedenrock and Masters of Rock they left behind a very positiv impression

by both fans and journalists.

Announcement of Nocturnal Rites:

"Nocturnal Rites forced to cancel Wacken!

We haven’t cancelled a show in more than seven years, so it’s with heavy hearts that we now have to inform you that our appearance at WOA – one of Europe’s best and most well organized festivals - is regretfully cancelled.

This is due to impossible logistical difficulties combined with several personal and family related problems. We simply cannot make it.

Believe us; we had all immensely looked forward to playing at Wacken again. We had an amazing show there a few years ago and we sincerely hope to return and make up for this missed show in the future.

To everyone who’s going to WOA this year: have a great time and once again we do apologize and hope you all understand."
