Zwei Neuzugänge und zwei Absagen
Gleich zwei Bands müssen ihre Teilnahme beim Wacken Open Air 2016 leider absagen, wir können aber direkt Ersatz verkünden! Als Ersatz für Kylesa und Stick To Your Guns haben wir folgende Bands verpflichten können:
Die Krupps
Die Vorreiter-Band des deutschen Industrial Metals kommt endlich zum Wacken Open Air! Seit 1980 sind Die Krupps sowohl in Deutschland als auch international unterwegs und haben eine umfangreiche Diskografie zusammengestellt. Das bislang letzte Album erschien 2015 und hört auf den Namen V - Metal Machine Music.
The Dead Daisies
Diese Supergroup vereint Musiker der größten Bands aller Zeiten, wobei ein häufig rotierendes Lineup Teil des Konzepts ist. Wie es sich anhört wenn Musiker von so unterschiedlichen Bands wie Guns N‘ Roses, Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails oder The Rolling Stones zusammen neue Musik schaffen, könnt ihr im August bei uns erleben.
Das Statement von Stick To Your Guns:
“Stick To Your Guns regrets to inform that they are no longer able to perform at this year’s Wacken Festival due to family obligations that can not be missed during the week of this Festival. The band will not be missing any other scheduled performances on their August run.
As much as they were looking forward to be part of this legendary Festival, as hard it is for them to cancel this one of a lifetime opportunity. „We hope to be invited again to the World’s biggest Metal Festival in the not so distant future, so that we can experience first hand what the myth of Waken is made of. We deeply regret to not be able to make it work this time"
Und das Statement von Kylesa:
“Kylesa have to put all touring plans for 2016 on hold due to personal matters beyond their control. This also includes the already announced performances at Hellfest and Wacken Open Air. The band regrets not being able to play those events, where they had very memorable times in the past and hopes to make up for it in the future.”
