Obituary - Dietmar "Diedel" Wulfgramm

02/09/2026

There are people who don’t just walk beside you for a few years, but for a whole stretch of your life’s journey. Diedel was one of them.

For us, Dietmar “Diedel” Wulfgramm was never just the keyboard player of Skyline.

He was a companion, a driving force, a friend.

Someone who never made a big deal of himself, yet without him many things would never have happened.
Together we felt that very special energy that only exists when people share the same passion for Metal. Diedel was never the loudest person in the room—but his presence was always there.

With Skyline and everything that grew around it, he was part of a time when it wasn’t about size, but about heart and dedication. About friends who stand together. That is exactly what Diedel embodied.

We are not only losing a musician.

We are losing a companion on the road.

Someone who accompanied the history of this event.

Diedel, thank you for the years. For the friendship.

We will see each other again—somewhere between feedback, beer, and one hell of a chord.

Holger & Thomas and the whole W:O:A & ICS-Crew
