W:O:A Metal Chorus 2011

As announced before we will start the W:O:A Metal Chorus today.

Since Thursday the 9th of June you are able to download the instrumental version of this year´s Wacken anthem “Wacken Will Never Die!” as mp3 file on www.wacken.com . You can download the file and the lyrics in the Specials Section.

What do I have to do?

1. First you have to download the instrumental version of the Wacken anthem. The lyrics can also be copied easily.

2. Get a video cam (webcams or mobile phone cams will also do the job) and shoot a music video with your own singing performance of the Wacken anthem.

3. Create an account on WackenTube and upload your finished video with you amazing performance. IMPORTANT! It´s necessary to upload the video in the Metal Chorus category. (just set a mark at the category)

The videos will be appreciated by an independent jury. The persons who will upload the most fancy, creative and funny performance will amongst other lucky winners become a part of the W:O:A Metal Chorus!

Deadline is 15th of July 2011. Then the winners will be chosen.

General conditions for participating in the W:O:A Chorus 2011

1. Allowance of conditions

By partaking in the W:O:A METAL CHORUS 2011 contest the participant accepts the following eligibility requirements.

2. Eligibility

Eligible are only 18 year old persons who are in possession of a valid W:O:A 2011 Ticket.

3. Mode

A professional jury will decide upon the winners of the contest. The contest ends at 15th of July 2011, the winners will be acknowledged subsequent in written form by mail.

4. Costs

Participating in W:O:A METAL CHORUS 2011 is for free.

5. Prize

The winners of the contest will gain a live gig performance on the W.E.T Stage during the Metal Karaoke at the W:O:A 2011. ICS Festival Service GmbH will not pay for travel costs, carrying charges, accommodation expenses or other charges.

6. Legal action

Legal action is out of question.
