Safety notes: Backpacks and bags

Created by WackenJasper
07/25/2016

Dear Metalheads,

In the light of current events, the festival operators and the safety authorities have decided to ban all backpacks and bags from the event area, due to security concerns. This includes also the Full Metal Bags. The event area consists of the Wackinger Village, Wacken Center, Wacken Plaza, Metal Market, Beer Garden and the Infield. (See the Holy Wacken Land map here.)

Belt bags and the known foldable water bottle from the Full Metal Bag are still allowed.

You can leave your bags and valuables in the Safe Deposit Trucks next to the entries A and B. Please mark all bags and backpacks with your mobile number and your name.

We trust in your understanding. This measure serves the general security.

We’re looking forward to an awesome and rain free W:O:A – we can’t wait to welcome you back!

Thomas Hess (event manager) & the W:O:A Crew
