The Classic Area: W:O:A Campground

If you want the full festival experience, the central W:O:A Campground is the place to be. The atmosphere is legendary, and there’s always something happening, even during the day.

Extra Comfort: Residenz Evil

Want more? You got it! Here, you’ll find comfy beds, power supply in all tents, a lounge with food & beverage area, high-quality sanitary facilities with showers and water-flushed toilets and a exclusive welcome gift.

The Hotel Option: Moshtel

Moshtel offers plenty of amenities: a reception with wristband exchange, high-quality sanitary facilities with showers and water-flushed toilets, a lounge with WiFi and a food & beverage area.

Everything Ready: Tᴱ.N.T.

Say goodbye to hammering pegs and fighting with tent canvas - just arrive and move in. Located in a car-free camping area, next to the Infield and Camping Plaza with short ways to the stages or to the Farmers Market.

Perfect for Groups: Bauer Uwe’s Garden

A meadow in the northeast of the festival grounds. A plot that’s all yours! Different arrival days? No problem. Gather together effortlessly. Multiple plots are also available for booking.

For Motorhomes & More: Camper-Park

If you’re traveling to Wacken Open Air with your motorhome, caravan or camper van head to the Camper-Park in the west of the festival grounds.

Car Free Camping Area: Camping Only

Here, everyone finds a spot for their tent, whether you arrive by bus, on foot, by bicycle, or with your own car. The car-free camping area is also located very close to the festival grounds. At the end of a W:O:A day, you'll be back at your campsite in just a few minutes.

Starting in spring 2025, the Camping Only Access Pass will be available free of charge at the Wacken Ticketcenter.
