Sepultura

What could we actually say? Sepultura are one of the greats.  The institution began in 1984 in Belo Horizonte with brothers Max and Igor Cavalera — initially as a thrash/death band, but with Chaos A.D. and Roots, they firmly established themselves as pioneers of groove metal. Despite turmoil, Sepultura has prevailed, continuously evolving musically while remaining politically sharp-edged. Even without the original lineup, they uphold the band's spirit. At Wacken, we get to welcome them for the 5th time, and each time we’re more excited. Sepultura remains a milestone of international metal — political, innovative, and uncompromising. Now let us gather one last time to be witnesses of absolute greatness.
