Brace yourselves: The trolls are coming!

We’re kicking off your Friday the same way we know you’ll want to kick off your Saturday at Wacken: with TrollfesT! The legendary goblin gang from Norway just couldn’t resist crawling out of their caves this year to join us for our proper Metal-style Frühschoppen. So, let’s hear it – three mighty HUMPPAs for that! 

And we know this soothes the pain, as some of you might be bummed about Liliac canceling their European tour. But don’t worry, we’ll definitely try to bring them back another time. Fingers crossed!  

But now for some fresh blood at the mighty Landgasthof stage: 
Over the years, the Rock & Metal Olympus has spawned some godlike figures ...
And where there are gods, there are preachers paying tribute! Sure, many of these icons are considered untouchable, but there are plenty of tribute bands out there who do a damn fine job keeping the flame alive. That’s why this year’s W:O:A is throwing a Tribute Day on August 1st at the LGH Clubstage! 
On board: BON SCOTT, the AC/DC tribute legends who’ve been rocking it since forever. JUST FOR PRIEST will channel the mighty Rob Halford & co. And no worries, Slayer fans – you’ll get your dose of brutality from the SLAYENsemble. 
And of course, the Prince of Darkness himself wouldn’t be complete without a doppelgänger: OZZYFIED is back to once again blow your minds just like in previous years.  

Then on August 2nd, L.B. STEEL and his Steelforce squad will take over the day. These guys worship Metal in their own unique way – combining live Metal power with epic audio drama! Their mission? To hunt down all those lowlifes committing crimes against Metal. With sharp wits, humor, and a laid-back attitude, this detective crew will stop at nothing to take down the bad guys. Where Heavy Metal meets audio drama, you’ll find a home for all Metalheads who love a good mystery!
