Our new Wacken United Area!
“Denim & leather – brought us all together!“ There is a special sense of community in Metal worldwide and of course in Wacken as well. This way of life is something that binds us all together, whether you’re a new fan, pit veteran, or band. This is why we’re trying something new this for W:O:A 2023 and welcome you to our brand new Wacken United Area.
The Wacken United Areais the place where bands, artists, press, and partners meet. This area invites all of us to hang out, there’s always a bar nearby (promise!), offers plenty of opportunities to make new acquaintances, holds press conferences and will of course be a place to celebrate together. On Thursday, there will also be a party in the Wacken United Area, where the Wacken bosses themselves might be found at the turntables…
Since access is limited, this means that 2023 ticket holders can get their hands on 300 single-day upgrades and 500 four-day upgrades for the Wacken United Area.
The Wacken United Area consists of:
United Kitchen: “Feast like the rock stars!” Under this motto, the catering, as enjoyed by the artists, can be optionally booked in advance in addition to the ticket upgrade and rounds off the experience culinarily with mostly regionally sourced products.
United Bar: “I wanna rock’n’roll all night!“ The United Bar is where the party’s at when the sun sets over the Holy Ground but the metalheads are far from done with the day.
United Courtyard: No matter if you are a musician, journalist, record company representative, agent, technician, or enthusiastic metal nerd – this is the place to be! During the day, it's the perfect spot to take a breath of fresh air between gigs and get an insight into the festival, attend a press conference, cheer on the Metal Battle participants, or witness their coronation. In the evening people gather around the fireplaces to exchange stories and ideas or to simply gaze up at the stars and enjoy their beer.
