R.I.P Jürgen Jensen

We are mourning for Jürgen Jensen, longtime owner of the "Sparmarkt" (supermarket) Jensen and father of W:O:A promoter Thomas Jensen, who passed away on the 24th of October, 2012 . We remember his friendly and typical Northern German way and the special hospitality he welcomed the metalheads at his super market with a smile.

After his well deserved pension he was year after year sitting in the beergarden at the main street to don´t miss all the Metalheads visiting the metaltown during the festival time.

He had a very special relation to the festival because without his help and selfless support the W:O:A wouldn´t have been possible, especially in the early years!

Our thoughts are now with his family and relatives.

You will never be forgotten - R.I.P Jürgen!
