W:O:A and Krombacher join forces

Metalheads, 

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back to the Holy Ground in 2022. We would like to toast to this with you all with a Krombacher in hand!

This is because the tradition-steeped Krombacher brewery and the Wacken Open Air are embarking on a long-term partnership. This not only ensures that Germany's most popular beer brand will supply you with liquid gold via our legendary beer pipeline in the coming years, it also means that together we can do exciting things on site and beyond.  

Especially when it comes to sustainability, we quickly realised that we share similar values. And that is why we will be tackling projects together that will establish this theme throughout the festival to the benefit of all visitors.

We are very much looking forward to this long-term cooperation - here's to Krombacher!
