The Ruhr area practically offers originals on every corner. Gelsenkirchen alone can boast a figure like Rudi Assauer, literally papal in a stature. But musically, the city also has some serious legendary potential in its back pocket.
Any Given Day can rightfully call themselves a trailblazing German Metalcore band. The group, led by frontman berserker Dennis Diehl, combines the brutality of death metal with the energy and catchiness of metalcore. The fact that, in their thirteenth year, the band can finally announce their appearance on the Holy Ground just proves: legends don’t rely on luck. They simply show up at the right time in the right place.
