Jazz Sabbath
Whispers in the heavy underground suggest that the ominous piano genius Milton Keanes is actually none other than Adam Wakeman - the long-time touring keyboardist for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne himself. But… we would obviously never say that. Never!
After all, the official (and much more beautiful) truth is: Jazz Sabbath invented Heavy Jazz back in 1969, right before Ozzy and co. brazenly stole the songs while Milton was hospitalized! By the way, the idea for this brilliant revenge plot was born in 2013 at 4:30 AM at a hotel bar in Berlin, when Wakeman casually jammed the entire Sabbath set as a jazz improvisation on the bar piano just for laughs. Since then, the trio has conquered the Billboard charts with albums like The 1968 Tapes and the brand-new Jazz Sabbath Live.
For the grand finale of the festival, bring your hangover breakfast, grab a cold beer, and enjoy the "originals" from Iron Man to Paranoid, beautifully reimagined in an exquisite jazz style.
