Customer service for Metalheads at the Hamburg Airport and at the welcome point at the train station Itzehoe

This year we will welcome our visitors already at the Hamburg Airport. The airport becomes the Wacken Airport and you will receive some extra services when you arrive there.

The Wacken Airport will open it's doors on Tuesday, 28th.

There will be some special Wacken lounges where you can hear metal, take photos in front of Wacken photowalls and relax in our Wacken Beachchairs. Additional to that, you will get a sales discount on every snack and drink you buy at the airport by showing your Wacken-ticket.

Also, there will be free showers at the terminal after the festival has ended. This allows you to get on the planes as fresh and clean as possible.

Welcome Point at the Train Station Itzehoe

At the train station Itzehoe there will be another Welcome Point. In the last years this welcome point was uses by thousands of metalheads during arrival and departure and is situated directly at the departure station of the shuttle busses. The staff will help you as best as they can and answer all your questions about the festival. You can also buy tickets for the bus shuttles directly on spot.

At the welcome point you can find an info booth, a toilet station, sitting accommodations and a ticket sale point for shuttle bus seats.

The welcome point opens it's doors on Tuesday, July 28th and closes on Thursday, July 30th.
