Hospice auction successfully ended

The patchwork of the hospice auction was handed over.

The promoters of the Wacken Open Air Festival initiated an auction in aid of Kinderleben e.V. – a hospice in Hamburg.

Therefor lots of signatures of different artist were collected on textile pieces.

These pieces then were fit together to one great patchwork.

Michael Amt is the lucky one who auctioned the patchwork for his son.

He liked this auction that much that he raised his own bit up from 1200 Euro to 1500 Euro!!!

The Wacken Open Air donates the same amount over again!

The handing-over takes place in Düsseldorf yesterday on the 30th of November. Doro Pesch (curator of the Wacken Foundation) and Ester Peter (Kinderleben e.V.) handed the patchwork over to the new owner.

Furthermore KinderLeben would be glad about further donations because the hospice is been financed completely by donations.
