Metal Battle 2016: New finalists confirmed

Our rows are filling up as more and more finalists are joining us on their way to Wacken Metal Battle.

Today we announce the winning finalists from Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Italy and South Africa.

Pain Is from Austria were founded in 2002. Now they have eventually found their own way and music and brought it to life with their album “God Particle”.

Sunless Dawn are from Denmark and a very young group. They play progressive metal with a heavy Scandinavian roots which they mix with dark, dystopian lyrics.

Horror Dance Squad are the finalists for Estonia. They are an aggressive and modern metal band with no fear to mix their hard songs with some pop music.

Assault your fears! Be the master of your existence. That’s the motto of the Italian winner band Sinphobia. They are trying to spread their message with a good mixture of American Death metal and old school European Thrash metal.

Last but not least are Zombies Ate My Girlfriend from South Africa. They already won some local and national metal awards in their South African scene but now they are out to proof that they also can succeed on an international level.

Congrats to all the winning bands and we will see you in the great finale. But keep an eye on it there are so much more bands to come.
