Onkel Tom “Angelripper” , an original from Gelsenkirchen/Ruhr, ex-pitman and full-time singer of the thrash metal band SODOM, releases, after a pause of 10 years, a new studio album which will be available in this summer. “Nunc Est Bidendum”, for non latin speakers “It may be drunk”, will be released at 26 August 2011. This title largely explains the content of the record as Onkel Tom´s fourth album primarily is about drinking and having celebration. Besides various classic drinking songs Tom also presents original compositions of which some songs have what it takes to become a classic. The record offers, among others, Rock n Roll, anthems about friendship and battle anthems about the best festival of the world. In the musical aspect “Nunc Est Bibendum” ranges between German Rock and Punk Music which impresses us with pushing and heavy sound.
