Pay with Your Blood – Campaign with Success and (Heart-) Blood

The Pay with Your Blood campaign had an impressive action day on September 13, 2025, at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). A total of 150 blood donations were recorded, including 120 first-time donors. Many guests took the opportunity to experience a special acoustic set by Lord of the Lost, an emotional highlight of the day. Musician van Steef also joined in with his guitar for the third time.

The principle of the initiative remains simple: donations for tickets. Those who donated received a ticket for Heaven Shall Burn’s “Heimat Over Europe” tour, merging the act of giving and the live music experience into a double-impact event. The campaign kicked off at eight German locations, and the tickets were “donated away” in no time.

Heaven Shall Burn expressed their thanks via video message and are delighted by the enormous willingness to donate! Thanks go out to all Metalheads who, together with the campaign, are sending a powerful message. Even though all tickets have already been given out, the purpose remains unchanged: blood donations save lives. The band continues to call for donations and thus supports the good cause.
