Security at Wacken Open Air

For us, security for visitors at W:O:A is at first rank.

Every year, together with the police, W:O:A Metalguards (Security), stewards, emergency rescue service and the fire brigade, we check and improve our established security plan.

Invited by the head of town clerk´s office, Mr. Gerhard Tolksdorf, the whole security team and ourselves have again checked and tested the security concept for W:O:A – in particular the emergency plan, emergency exits and alternative accommodations.

The security concept has been evaluated and modified during the past 20 years to enable a safe and carefree party.

All persons in charge have again attested to grant a highest degree of security!

Also this year (as in the years before) there will be several meetings each day between all persons in charge who will check the security concept permanently.

Please inform yourselves about the emergency exits and look out for the references at the videowalls and LED info screens.

We´re looking forward to the heaviest and most peaceful metal party of the year.
