For musically sophisticated chorales, we’ve secured none other than Nightwish frontwoman Floor Jansen. With that, nothing will stand in the way of our application to become the Heavy-Metal equivalent of the Vienna Opera Ball next year.
While Fear Factory and Static X add even more highlights to the high-tech arsenal of W:O:A 2025 - and are certainly not being deployed to the Holy Ground to take prisoners - Eihwar will aim to seduce you to the Viking dancefloor Metalheads with their unique sound: a mix of heavy tones and danceable electronic elements.

Careful, don’t shake the sixth gift! What’s rattling inside might make you suspect it’s prehistoric bones, but it’s actually the drumsticks of Komppi Momppi, drummer of our favorite dinos—Heavysaurus!

After an incredible debut in 2017, we can also look forward to a special icon in music history in 2025: Sir Bob Gedolf! It is no coincidence that we find him under the tree today. With his Boomtown Rats he is responsible for the anthem of all Monday grouches, but with Live Aid he probably delivered the most heartwarming Christmas classic in the world: “Do they know it’s Christmas”. On the Holy Ground, the Boomtown Rats will certainly be as ruthless as usual.

To close things out with a royal touch, King Diamond is bringing darkness, horror, chills, and occultism to the Holy Ground. The King is a true icon of heavy music and will strike fear and awe as a real highlight of the festival.
